A Light Touch
Summer in Sydney. It hasn't rained in weeks. An immigrant widow, Marion (Naveen Hanna) travels every day to clean for a reclusive blind man, Oscar (Martin Dingle Wall). Both are lonely, disconnected and on the outskirts of society. Marion struggles in the sighted world, confronted with her fading looks, Oscar is a bitter and self-punishing alcoholic. Within his old terrace house, Marion secretly observes Oscar, discovering his private tactile world. Her senses are enlivened and an intimate story of desire and awakening unfolds.
